Lost FOL scenes
A description of  some scenes that appear in the full episodes available on Joost  and that  (from memory) were cut from syndicated versions available in You Tube ( Season 4 and later only).  If I am wrong about whether these scenes appeared before, let me know.

Title:  Invitations
Rating: PG (character hurt, eating disorders)
Setting: Eastland
Author Notes:  Just a quick and sort of half-baked piece inspired by a ficathon prompt from janicehope, WC prompt 4.3 and some lines of dialog from the episode "Ballroom Dance".

Title:  The Thanksgiving Episode
Rating: PG 15, language, a tad racy in spots
Disclaimers:  The usual. No ill intent, no ownership
Author's Notes:  This is the third of a series. It will make more sense after reading its predecessors "Catching Up" and "Openings". Those stories are available on my LJ page. BTW, anybody can archive whatever they want. Just identify the author correctly.  For those 80's TV fans, which, given the community, is probably everybody, you will note that Jo is now working for Cagney and Lacey's old boss.  This story includes a response to Weekly Challenge Prompt 3.3.

Drabble
A drabble on two subjects I swore I would never write about : 9/11 and character death.  Hopefully it is out of my system.  Seriously, be warned.  (I revised this from an earlier version because I bummed myself out and, particularly in light of  the You Tube  crack down, things seemed too depressing. )

Be warned )

Drabble
My first attempt at drabble.

The rehearsal had run late.  It was nearly midnight.  In a hurry to catch the bus back to Peekskill, Tootie opted to take the shortcut through the basement of the music building. From one of the dingy  piano practice rooms, the sound of Gershwin’s "Rhapsody in Blue" echoed. Tootie slowed her steps.  Whoever is playing is really good, she thought. The door to the room was slightly ajar. Tootie peeked in.  Jo?  Is that Jo?

Title:  A Summer Story
Disclaimers;  Others own them.  This is just for fun
Rating: PG

This story is based on a ficathon request from kben.  The character of Rickie Vasquez was borrowed from "My So Called Life."  I  have sent him back in time about ten years.  This may be one of the few, if not only FOL/MSCL crossovers.  I doubt it will spark a trend.  Challenge 1.3 is incorporated, although, on reading it over, 1.2  also  probably applies.  I leave to the reader to decide who the hero is.  There are two parts to this story.  It is complete.

FOL Fiction
After years of lurking and enjoying, I am trying my hand at fan fiction.  For some reason FOL is the most compelling to me right now.  My inspirations are caveatreader, textfiend and mflores.  This is a pale imitation.

Title: Catching Up
Disclaimer: Don't own them. Just for fun
Rating: PG 13 ( language, mild angst)
Setting: Mid 1990s NYC

This may have to be posted in parts.  It is complete.
